Tuli adventures offers adventures based tours into the abundant Tuli Wilderness area. Tuli offers a truly unique landscape compromising of over 800 000 hectares spread amongst private safari area and conservancy land.
Tuli is better known by the locals as the Hardveld because of the rocky outcrops and abundance of stones and pebbles found scattered across the terrain. Sesame trees can be seen roving up mountain faces and baobabs stand at attention amongst a plethora of mopani trees.
Tuli is also rich in wildlife, there are no fences in the Tuli wilderness and the game are free to roam as they would have hundreds of years ago. Elephants roam languorously through the scenery, plains game meander in great herds and lion is often heard rumbling in the distance. Birds are a constant source of wonderment and ornithologists will be amazed by over 320 identified species. White backed vultures and a resident black eagle pair make for memorable story telling. Both the Limpopo and Motloutse rivers are bordered by large Nyala and Fever trees, these in turn provide shade to Nile crocodiles, fish eagles and Pel’s fishing owls at dusk.
